Background
VINCI was created by Dr. Dan D. Yang, a mother and world-renowned telecom entrepreneur. While traversing the globe on business she was on the lookout for educational tools that would inspire her daughter to develop a positive attitude toward lifelong learning. Having found traditional toys for infants generally uninspiring, Dr. Yang noticed her child's profound fascination with a smartphone. While she was eager to encourage her daughter's newfound interest, Dr. Yang was extremely concerned for the safety of her child and unsatisfied by the lack of quality of apps for young children. None of the apps her daughter was playing seemed to help with building her capabilities.
It was through this experience that she came to realize that the interests and needs of children - like her daughter - were not being met with any of the existing traditional or commercial products available on the market. That's when Dr. Yang decided to take matters into her own hands by creating VINCI – safe, child-friendly and technologically advanced early learning systems specifically designed for young children with the goal to engage, educate and empower them to achieve early learning objectives.
Partnering with a team of forward-thinking educators, developers and designers, Dr. Yang filed four patents pertaining to her ideas to develop an innovative learning platform. She then outlined a mission to build the first touch screen Early Learning System created for toddlers and preschoolers. That product is now known as VINCI, a revolutionary new product that builds confidence by inspiring children to explore and discover.
